Our Promoters

Promoters of IRDG are well wishers of its progress and growth and provide guidance in achieving regional development and sustainable peace. They will also assist IRDGs in its efforts in advocacy, direction and policy initiatives.

K. C. Logeswaran – Governor Western Province, Former High commissioner to South Korea, Former Secretary to National Ministries.




S Sivathasan
Selected to the Administrative Service, Sivathasan had a career in development engagements throughout. Postings were to a Division, Districts, North-East Provincial Ministry and Central Ministries. Secretary of a Line Ministry and Advisor to the President, were two of the important appointments in the mid-nineties.

T. Lankaneson - Retired S.L.A.S with over 40 years of public service and has served as secretary to districts, additional secretary for three ministries.  Has also been project director of rehabilitation, reconstruction and development for Multi-Lateral Donor Agencies.


V. Wishvalingam – Retired Government Agent with over 40 years of public service that include providing leadership for resettlement and rehabilitation.



K. P.S. Varatharajah – Retired Judge of the High Court.

Prof S. Ethirveerasingam – U.S. A a former Olympian of Tamil heritage, now lives in the US and coaches young athletes in Sri Lanka.

Tissa Jeyatilaka

Tiss Jayatilaka has Masters in Public Administration from Wake Forest University, North Carolina, Master of Arts in English from Smith College, Massachusetts and a Post-graduate Diploma in American Studies. He is presently the Executive Director of the Sri Lanka Fulbright Commission. Jayatilaka is the author of publications, as well as involved in translations, editing of journals, collections of essays.
